Less than 100km north of Joburg lies its chilled out sibling city. Pretoria offers all the benefits of living and working in the greater Joburg area, with a far more relaxed vibe. Pretoria has an excellent social, arts and cultural scene, and a youthful population thanks to its status as a student town. Known as the Jacaranda City, Pretoria is famous for the Jacaranda trees that cover the streets in a purple haze each spring, but there’s so much more to this awesome spot!

Pretoria provides a ‘small town vibe’ but it’s close enough to Joburg to experience all the big city shopping and entertainment attractions. If you’re a nature lover, its location in the foothills of the Magaliesberg means that the great outdoors is never far away.
